Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaCohen from Radin (January 26, 1839 - September 15, 1933) was one of the most important rabbis in the generation before the Holocaust. Author of Mishna Berurah (Clarified Teaching) and Chafetz Chaim (Desirer of Life). Known as the "Chafetz Chaim" after the name of his book.
